About
Djembé at the heart of the dance floor
Master M, whose real name is Mariano Reale, is a Swiss percussionist based in Geneva. For almost thirty years he has built a signature sound at the crossroads of organic percussion and electronic music. A djembé specialist, he plays at the heart of the afro house, organic house and house scenes, between production, performance and music creation. With James Deron he forms an afro house and organic house duo, and together they run ÕRÃ, the night that comes back every two months at Weetamix in Geneva.
At home in clubs, festivals, private events and international productions, he adapts to each artist and shapes his playing around the energy of the moment: listening to the music, feeling the crowd, stepping in at the right time.
